Message concerning Steward Health Care problems:
As you might have heard Steward Healthcare which owns Good Samaritan Medical Center is in financial trouble and just declared bankruptcy. Please know that our practice, Hanjani OBGYN, is a private practice and is NOT owned by Steward or the hospital. We are a fully independent medical practice. We have the freedom to take care of our patients in which ever way best suites their needs. We utilize Good Samaritan Medical Center for Obstetric services, Emergency room care, and some Surgery and Testing, and the hospital will be staying open despite the Steward financial problems. Dr Hanjani also has hospital privileges and can utilize the services at Milton Hospital and Brockton Hospital.

About Dr. Hanjani
Dr. Hanjani has been in practice in the south suburbs of Boston for 25 years. He opened a private practice in 2003 to be able to provide individualized attention to his patients. He also served as the Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton from 2006 through 2016. He also served as the Supervisor of Obstetrics and Gynecology services at the Brockton Neighborhood Health Center from 2000 through 2017. He continues to be the Chair of the Robotics Committee at Good Samaritan Medical Center. He also practices at Signature Brockton Hospital in Brockton.

If you are pregnant and suffering with hypertension, diabetes, or are expecting a multiple birth, you may be considered a high risk pregnancy.
